According to Reuters a North-african hijacker of an Air Mauritanie airplane is arrested in the Spanish Canaries.

The hijjacker hijacked a flight from Nouadhibou (Mauretania) to the Canaries after a fuel stop in Moroccan(-occupied) Western Sahara.
The lone hijacker wanted to go to France.

According to Reuters, the Spanish authorities say that the hijacker was North-african.
The Dutch newsagency ANP states the nationality of the hijacker as "Moroccan".
Although other sources (Dutch link) say that the hijacker was Mauritanian.
So we still don't know.

Anyhow, the lunatic is overpowered and I think we will know more by tomorrow.
